Lamborghini Miura P400

Aquesta obra ha estat tot un desafiament: es tractava de representar en un quadre d’un metre per un metre l’eesència d’un Miura amb només una “porció” del cotxe.

Així, del seu disseny radical em vaig centrar a la zona davantera, donant-li un especial protagonisme al curiós far amb les seves “pestanyes”, a la reixeta tipus piano del capó i al grup òptic inferior, tot dins de la carrosseria amb el color taronja del Lamborghini Miura, l’Arancio Sole, amb què va ser presentat al Saló de l’Automòbil de Ginebra del 1966.

Per aquest quadre he preferit el format quadrat de 100 x 100 cm perquè ocupi un espai preferent i destacat a la paret d’una sala, un despatx o al garatge.

This work has been a challenge: it was to represent in a one meter by one meter painting the essence of a Miura with only a “portion” of the car.

Then, from its radical design I focused on the front area, giving special prominence to the curious headlight with its “tabs”, the piano grille on the hood and the lower optical group, all in the bodywork with the orange color of the Lamborghini Miura, the Arancio Sole, with which it was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1966.

For this painting I have preferred the square format of 100 x 100 cm to occupy a preferential and prominent space on the wall of a living room, an office or in the garage.

Lamborghini Miura P400

Esta obra ha sido todo un desafío: se trataba de representar en un cuadro de un metro por un metro la esencia de un Miura con solo una “porción” del coche.

Así, de su diseño radical me centré en la zona delantera, dándole un especial protagonismo al curioso faro con sus “pestañas”, a la rejilla tipo piano del capó y al grupo óptico inferior, todo ello en la carrocería con el color naranja del Lamborghini Miura, el arancio sole, con el que fue presentado en el Salón del Automóvil de Ginebra de 1966.

Para este cuadro he preferido el formato cuadrado de 100 x 100 cm para que ocupe un espacio preferente y destacado en la pared de una sala, un despacho o en el garaje.
